Nottingham Building Society rolls out new tech to speed up insurance quotes

Nottingham Building Society has implemented new tech to provide its customers with insurance quotes in as little as 60 seconds.

The technology, developed by Manchester-based InsureTech Uinsure, will grant the building society's members access to quotes from leading UK insurers, with the cheapest quote presented to members.

Kathryn Kitson, head of savings operations and distribution at Nottingham Building Society, said that the move forms part of the organisation's goal to make homeownership as easy and achievable as possible.

Uinsure provide comprehensive home insurance policies that includes up to £1 million of buildings protection, £75,000 or £100,000 contents cover and accidental breakage of technology equipment.

"This collaboration with Uinsure enables us to offer potential homeowners and existing members the peace of mind that their property is protected against unexpected losses or damage," she continued. “By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we've simplified the insurance process during a time where expenses continue to rise and the cost-of-living crisis remains front of mind.”
