Getir partners with Co-op

Getir has announced it is piloting a Co-op range on its grocery delivery app.

Getir will be working with Nisa Retail, the wholesale division of The Co-op Group, who will be supplying their own brand products.

The move comes after Co-op announced partnerships with rival delivery apps Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

Getir will deliver on behalf of Co-op across select stores in London.

The partnership has plans to expand to additional locations over the next few months.

The company said that the collaboration will “massively increase” the choices available for its customers, with roughly 300 lines across ambient and fresh groceries.

The trials will take place at stores in Battersea, Earls Court, Seven Sisters, Balham, Tottenham and Bethnal Green

“Getir is committed not only to speed and convenience but to exploring new and innovative ways to serve customers looking for a broad selection of products and everyday groceries," said Kristof Van Beveren, Getir's UK general manager. "These products represent the best of British farming, ethical trading as well as support Co-ops charitable partnerships. We are excited to expand our product choices and look forward to adding brand new lines to our service that will meet the needs of our growing community.”
