Deliveroo and Boots expand partnership to 125 UK stores

Deliveroo and Boots are expanding their partnership to 125 stores across the UK.

The health and beauty retailer said that customers will have access to a wider range of products across new cities, including: Manchester; Bristol; Glasgow; and Belfast.

The move comes after a successful trial across 14 UK stores.
Consumers will now be able to have 750 health and beauty products delivered by Deliveroo through its app.
Orders are picked and prepared in-store before being collected and delivered by a Deliveroo rider.

Boots is now available via Deliveroo in Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Bristol, Sheffield, Coventry, Plymouth, Exeter, Middlesbrough, York, Aberdeen and Inverness.

More stores are also offering Deliveroo in existing regions, including London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Edinburgh.

“The original trial in 14 stores was a huge success and gave us the opportunity to learn very quickly what our customers want from a rapid delivery service,” said Paula Bobbett, chief digital officer, Boots. “Now as we expand to 125 stores across the UK, we can be sure the products available on the service are well matched to customer needs.”

Deliveroo recently opened up its inventory management and picking technology to supermarkets in the UK so they can facilitate rapid delivery direct from store.

West London’s Supermarket of Dreams will be the first grocery store to be part of Deliveroo HOP’s new business model.
